Overall
Overall is the editorial score for how confidently the game can be recommended to an otome reader today. It weighs romance, writing, presentation, availability, route structure, and how clearly the game serves a specific reader.
Romance
Romance measures chemistry, emotional payoff, route identity, and whether the love interest arc feels earned. A high romance score does not require high spice.
Writing
Writing covers premise clarity, characterization, localization quality, scene craft, and whether routes have memorable conflicts beyond the relationship label.
Art
Art covers character design, CG polish, UI readability, and overall presentation. For older games, the score accounts for age without excusing confusing or inaccessible presentation.
Pacing
Pacing measures common-route length, route momentum, repetition, and how quickly the game gets a reader to the material promised by its premise.
